Learning the Love of God (Romans 3:21-26)

1. Where you look will determine how you live
2. Objective facts guide and ground our subjective feelings
3. Justification - The legal pronouncement of God that a person is righteous because of Jesus perfect life and his death on the cross
4. Redemption - purchased by the blood of Christ and set free from our bondage to sin and now we belong to God
5. Propitiation - the sacrificial offering of Jesus Christ in which he bears the wrath of God for our sins and fully satisfies God's perfect justice
6. The righteousness of God in the law says, "I am finished!"
7. The righteousness of God in love says, "It is finished!"
