a. They become self-absorbed ("Give me!")
b. Their action toward others is insensitive
c. They lack discernment
d. They conform to wrong influences
e. Ungodly motivation and behavior become normative
2. How we should respond to the broken relationship of a departed prodigal
a. Continue to engage life and responsibilities uncompromisingly
b. Check your attitude (You're responsibility for your actions and reactions.
3. Take spiritual action
a. Be restitution oriented (v. 20, 22)
b. Express your love (v. 22-23)
c. Facilitate a celebration for restitution
d. Use your influence to challenge others to reconcile and restore (v. 31)
