WHO ARE WE PARTNERING WITH?
We are partnering with various community partners that we support financially on a monthly basis, as well as other organizations and churches that we are excited to partner with for the first time.
WHAT TYPES OF PROJECTS ARE AVAILABLE?
There are a variety of projects, ranging from organizing and deep cleaning, to painting and landscaping, to doing doorhangers and picking up trash.
WHAT WILL THE MORNING AT THE PROJECT SITE LOOK LIKE?
You will gather at your project site at 8:30 AM. There will be a site leader at each project, and they will give instructions. The day will end for most sites around 12:30 PM, and the site leader will lead in a time of prayer and commitment for the organization we are partnering with.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
You are encouraged to bring your kids! This is a great time for you to serve God and our community together as a family. We will also be providing childcare for children preschool and under.
HOW ARE PROJECTS GOING TO BE ASSIGNED TO VOLUNTEERS?
You will indicate 3 different projects that you are interested in. We will do our best to match you with one of these projects, but thank you in advance for your flexibility in which project you are assigned. Preference will be given in order of when you signed up. Family friendly projects are marked with an (*).
HOW WILL PROJECT ASSIGNMENTS BE COMMUNICATED TO VOLUNTEERS?
Your project site and other relevant information will be communicated with you via email by Thursday, April 11th.
IS THIS ORGANIZED BY CONNECT GROUP?
Unlike previous years, Connect Groups are not being asked to take a night and serve. The hope for this year is that people will get to know other people outside of their Connect Group through serving their community.
