Daniel 11

Today's Passage: Daniel 11
Let me be completely honest with you: I am linking an article with some commentary about this chapter because there are people far more educated than I who better know how to explain this section of Daniel’s writing. You can follow this link for a better description that I can ever give:
https://www.samstorms.org/all-articles/post/daniel-11:2-12:13
However, let me say a few quick things about this chapter:
As intimidating as it is to figure out, its humbling that God knows every bit of these events. Nothing of the history and/or prophecy of Daniel 11 will take God by surprise, for it is ONLY by His good purposes and omniscience that these things have permission to take place. We know how the story ends, so we need not fret the pitstops inbetween!
The Bible isn’t an easy book to read or understand. It is meant to blow our minds, to expand our view of God, and to confuse our finite minds. We often get frustrated that we don’t understand it all, but that’s part of God’s desire. If we can fully understand God and figure Him out, He is too small. Let the mystery of the scripture increase your trust in God and cause you to dig deeper rather than shy away from its difficulty.
Hang in there as Daniel comes to an end, you’re doing great!
