Revelation 21:9-27
Today’s Passage: Revelation 21:9-27
Think about your life, what are some things you wish you could see again for the first time? For me, I think about:
There are so many experiences I could add to this list. God has created a beautiful planet and filled it with all types of amazing things! Yet, even with how extraordinary this world is, it has its flaws. But that won’t happen when Revelation 21 comes to pass.
As I read in Revelation 21, here are a few things that stick out:
For you, are you 100% sure that if you died today you would go to be with Jesus?
What excites you most about Heaven?

Think about your life, what are some things you wish you could see again for the first time? For me, I think about:
- When I saw my wife in her wedding dress
- The first time I saw our son
- Visiting the Grand Canyon
- Swimming with stingrays in the Bahamas
- Going to the redwood forest
There are so many experiences I could add to this list. God has created a beautiful planet and filled it with all types of amazing things! Yet, even with how extraordinary this world is, it has its flaws. But that won’t happen when Revelation 21 comes to pass.
As I read in Revelation 21, here are a few things that stick out:
- God has a plan for eternity (v. 9-21). Heaven is not an afterthought for God. In its construction, there are glimpses of things like the Tabernacle and the Temple. God has established its plan.
- God will be the focus of eternity (v. 22-26). In the Old Testament, going to the Temple was important because it signified the presence of God. In Heaven, God is the Temple because His presence is there.
- God knows who will be in eternity (v. 27). Those who have repented of their sin and trusted in Jesus as Romans 10:9, 13 talks about will be inheritors of God’s everlasting Kingdom. It’s not their merit, but Jesus’ that gave them access.
For you, are you 100% sure that if you died today you would go to be with Jesus?
What excites you most about Heaven?
