Psalm 78:40-72
Today's Passage: Psalm 78:40-72
This section of verses is reminiscent and representative of the Old Testament narrative:
But, even with all of their sin, foolishness, and forgetting, verse 72 is still true:
With upright heart he shepherded them
and guided them with his skillful hand.
What a merciful God! Not just forgiving iniquity to a thousand generations, but leading and guiding us like the good shepherd that he is.
By the way, don’t forget that the order above is the same order for us. We are no better than the people of the Old Testament.
Aren’t you thankful that God has offered his judgment on us through the death and resurrection of Christ?
