Psalm 65

Today's Passage: Psalm 65
This Psalm is written with one prevailing purpose: to elevate your love and worship of God. We see this in verse 1:
Why is praise due to God?
Look again at verse 5:
By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness,
O God of our salvation,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas;
God is the hope of all the world because he is the God of our salvation.
What a good reminder for you today: You might not struggle believing that God is your salvation, but is God your hope? Do you truly find your hope and satisfaction (v. 4) in God more than anything else?
Father, I pray for myself and others reading this today, that you would truly be what we place our true, ultimate hope in. Reveal to us the shallow places we look to for satisfaction and help us change to find our true hope in you.
