Isaiah 56

Today's Passage: Isaiah 56
I find great hope in this passage. All throughout the gospel we see Jesus talk about how salvation, grace, and forgiveness are for all. God does not see people like we do. We often look on the outside. God looks at the heart.
Now of course. We do not compromise on God’s standard & word. Neither did Jesus. He paid for it so that all who call on His name will be saved.
In Isaiah 56 we see this truth on full display. Isaiah starts out saying thus says the Lord meaning that this is from God. He identifies two groups of people that can find hope in the gospel...
1) The social outcast & unclean (v.3-5)
2) The outsider & foreigner (v.6-8)
The hope we see in this passage is that God & salvation are for all people no matter who we are, what we have done, where we are born, what we have experienced, or if others accept us or not. There is hope for all in Jesus through repentance and belief in the cross of Jesus Christ. The ground is level at the foot of the cross.
Maybe you feel spiritual unclean, like an outcast, or an outsider. Look to Jesus. He is there for you and to care for you.
We all have people that feel like that in our lives. We have to remind them of the hope in Jesus that they have. We are missionaries sent by God to take people one step closer. We need to feel the ownership of that. They are made in God’s image. We are God’s church. We have a mission from Him. Let's pursue them, love them, and care for them deeply.
Make a list today of 3 people in your life you need to be praying for. You are not where you are by accident. God has placed you there on purpose. Be faithful.

● All have worth and value.
● All are designed for a relationship with Him.
