John 20:1-10

Today's Passage: John 20:1-10
This passage is unfathomable. We will never exhaust the awe and wonder of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But sometimes we talk about it so much that we forget to slow down and let it sink in. Jesus died for you. Not just flatlined for a minute or two. He died and was buried in a tomb for three days because our sin was THAT great, but his power was THAT MUCH GREATER!
Read this short resurrection passage 2 or 3 times and then spend a minute or two meditating on its meaning. Let it sink in.
Verses 8-9 “Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.”
Comment Below:
Why do you think the disciples were so slow to believe that Jesus would rise from the dead after Jesus told them about it serval times while he was alive?
Why do you think it’s so hard for people to believe today?
Why is the resurrection of Jesus Christ essential to our faith? (1 Cor:14-19)
Are we slow to believe the power of Jesus in our lives today?
