Acts 26

Today’s Passage: Acts 26
Paul is before King Agrippa. He is given the platform. He is given the floor.
What would you say? Would you defend yourself? How would you respond?
The verse that echos through my mind as I read this chapter is 1 Peter 3:15…
15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,
Are you prepared? To tell Jesus’ story? To tell your story?
We have to become really good story tellers. People live their lives in stories. We see our lives through stories. We relate to stories.
Jesus' story is the story of the Scriptures. To tell Jesus’ story you have to use the Scriptures.
Your story is how you came into a relationship with Jesus and what God has done in your life.
When you become really fluent. You can tell both at the same time… interweaving them together.
Paul got really good at this. He read the room. He knew he had an on ramp to tell about Jesus and he took it.
He told about:
He told in verse 23 what Jesus had accomplished. Paul turned every opportunity that he could into evangelism. Do we? What would God do if this is how we lived our lives?
Write down the names of 3 people you are praying for and pray for opportunities to share with them. Make sure you are prepare to tell Jesus’ story and tell your story. Take the on ramp.
