Acts 21:27-40

Today's Passage: Acts 21:27-40
Right out of the gate, here’s the main point: Your circumstances don’t determine God’s faithfulness to you and shouldn’t determine your faithfulness to God.
Paul was on mission. He was sharing the gospel. He was planting churches. He was multiplying leaders. Paul was the definition of faithful.
And yet, he finds himself the victim of persecution and suffering over and over again. And in our passage today, he is the victim of false accusations.
These false accusations were serious—they were trying to kill Paul because of them.
But what we don’t see is Paul freaking out or losing trust in the Lord. He understands that persecution and suffering is a part of God’s design.
Was he always perfect at this? Probably not.
It’s clear that this was a learned discipline for him.
Was this easy for him? Probably not.
But he chose faithfulness in all circumstances because he learned that God’s faithfulness to him is not dependent on his circumstances, and neither should his faithfulness to God be dependent upon them either.
Is this possible for you? Absolutely!
This doesn’t mean that it will be easy or that you will be perfect, but you can and should strive toward being faithful no matter your circumstances, fighting to believe that God is faithful no matter what you walk through.

Good word, and such a great idea for trying to figure out how to face high stresses without anxiety attacks! Thank you, I hope to remember this in the heat of the moment tomorrow, etc. I can trust and I'm okay in any circumstance because God is faithful in every circumstance.
