Luke 13:18-35

Luke 13:18-35

We often hear about how the way to salvation is a narrow door or a narrow road… but the question is do our hearts break for those going through the wide door or are on the wide road?

It is very easy to say “they should know better…” but how did we know better? We knew better because someone sat us down and told us about Jesus. We have to live on mission in our neighborhood, workplace, school, friend group, and family. We have to live to take everyone we meet one step closer to becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ. But how?

  1. Identify 3 lost/seeking people around you.
  2. Pray for their salvation every day.
  3. Build a relationship with them (coffee, dinner, etc).
  4. Tell them what Jesus did in your life.
  5. Share with them what Jesus did for them.
  6. Invest in them and disciple them to follow Jesus.

Who is that one person or those few people you are praying for? How are you living on mission to reach them with the gospel?

It is not wasted. God takes our mustard seed investment and changes lives, impacts people, and uses it to build His Forrest (church). We do our job. He does His job. And He is FAITHFUL.

It is never too late to start. Start today!

Amen! Living on mission! Powerful post! I am praying for the salvation of 3 people so I can tell them about Jesus! I have had Gospel conversations with 2 people!
